White light of the winter sun
A line of rooftops marching on
Across the streets and fields and skies
A clear perfection underlies

It's there, it's always there
And it's not going to go away
The sun may set, the sand may fall
But this will always stay --

The world behind the world

Sparkling face of a window-wall
The arcades of an outdoor mall
Footsteps on the pavement ground
The wonder spreading all around

It's there, it's always there
And it's not going to go away
Tides may turn and times may change
But this will always stay --

The world behind the world

A grassy strip that the road divides
A row of trees on either side
Beyond, the vista opens wide
Upon the vast highway you ride

It's there, it's always there
And it's not going to go away
The sun may set, the stars may fall
But this will always stay --

The world behind the world
The world behind the world behind the world

About me:

I throw rocks into the abyss, and it throws them back.

My favorite activities include logging on to the Zeitgeist, surfing the Memosphere, thinking like a replicator, and grokking the Pattern Language. If you actually understood what that meant, you're probably one of my Parallel Counterparts. I'd really like to meet you.

I am also a Fangirl. No, I am not too old to be one. You see, I don't fangirl angsty emo pop stars or cute, cuddly Anime characters. I fangirl BUILDINGS. The kind of buildings that make me bounce and squee like an underage yaoi fanfic writer tend to be huge, abstract, impersonal, starkly geometric structures made of steel, glass and concrete. They remind of my soul. I warned you.

I am physically disabled, with a nasty syndrome known as Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am searching for ways to cure it using natural remedies. I am also searching for a way make a living and my mark upon the world, hopefully both at the same time. Wouldn't that be just the ticket?

I also use a lot of archaic slang like "Isn't that the ticket?" It's a quirk of mine. I think they had better slang in the 20th c. Also better BUILDINGS, but I'm prejudiced that way.

If you don't mind reading my incessantly weird ideas about fractals, evolution, sociobiology, politics, metaphysics, philosophy, transhumanism, preserving Cleveland's glorious cultural heritage of aging buildings from the forces of entropy, and various other things, please feel free to add me.

The Zeitgeist likes me! I will ride Time's Arrow backwards into eternal youth, immortality and extropy!
